WENEN, Oostenrijk–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Vanaf 1 april 2022 zal Kai Siefert de functie van directeur overnemen van de blockchain-start-up RIDDLE&CODE Energy Solutions GmbH, een joint venture tussen Wien Energie GmbH, de grootste regionale energiedienstverlener van Oostenrijk , en blockchain scale-up RIDDLE&CODE GmbH, ook gevestigd in Wenen.

Kai Siefert heeft 16 jaar professionele ervaring in de energiesector. In zijn vorige functie als IT-strateeg bij Wien Energie GmbH leidde hij een team van softwareontwikkelaars en elektrotechnici van beide joint venture-partners om op blockchain gebaseerde digitale diensten en technische oplossingen te ontwikkelen voor de hernieuwbare sector en zijn gedistribueerde energiebronnen. Als resultaat van dit werk werd afgelopen zomer het energietokenisatieplatform “MyPower” gelanceerd, het kernproduct van het jonge bedrijf. Wien Energie GmbH gebruikt deze technologie al als onderdeel van haar zonne-energiecentraleproducten voor burgers, waarbij de nieuwste release een dynamische stimulerings- en beloningsfunctie bevat.

Kai Siefert has 16 years of professional experience in the energy industry. In his previous position as IT strategist at Wien Energie GmbH, he led a team of software developers and electrical engineers from both joint venture partners to develop blockchain-based digital services and technical solutions for the renewable sector and its distributed energy sources. As a result of this work, the energy tokenisation platform “MyPower” was launched last summer, forming the core product of the young company. Wien Energie GmbH already uses this technology as part of its citizen solar power plant products, where the latest release includes a dynamic incentivisation and remuneration feature.
