ARLINGTON, Va. – (BUSINESS WIRE) – FLIR Systems, Inc. In januari 2019 kende het Amerikaanse leger FLIR een eerste contract van $ 39,7 miljoen toe voor Black Hornet 3’s ter ondersteuning van het SBS-programma. Het bedrijf levert momenteel die systemen voor veldwerk over de hele linie.

Uiterst licht, bijna geruisloos en met een vliegtijd tot 25 minuten, zendt de in de strijd beproefde Black Hornet PRS op zakformaat live video en HD-stilstaande beelden terug naar de operator. In January 2019, the U.S. Army awarded FLIR an initial $39.7 million contract for Black Hornet 3’s to support the SBS program. The company is currently delivering those systems for fielding across the force.
