Op 7 oktober 2025 opent het kunstcollectief teamLab een nieuw museum: teamLab Biovortex Kyoto

Hier worden 7 kunstwerken onthuld, waaronder stukken die nooit eerder in Japan werden tentoongesteld. Tickets zijn nu te koop verkrijgbaar

KYOTO, Japan–(BUSINESS WIRE)– teamLab Biovortex Kyoto, het permanente kunstmuseum van het kunstcollectief teamLab, opent op 7 oktober 2025 de deuren in Minami-ku, Kyoto, in het kader van het Kyoto Station Southeast Area Project.

Dit wordt het grootste museum van teamLab in Japan, met een ruimte van meer dan 10.000 vierkante meter.

In aanloop naar de opening van het museum, werkt teamLab momenteel aan de creatie van verschillende nieuwe kunstwerken, waaronder stukken die nooit eerder in Japan werden tentoongesteld. De eerste kunstwerken die van het nieuwe museum zullen deel uitmaken, zijn Massless Amorphous Sculpture, Morphing Continuum, The Eternal Universe of Words, The Way of Birds en Forest of Resonating Lamps.
