Visa (NYSE: V) kondigde vandaag een minderheidsinvestering aan in BillDesk, een toonaangevend platform voor online betalingen en factuurbetalingen in India. Visa’s investering en samenwerking zal BillDesk helpen bij het ontwikkelen van nieuwe productlijnen voor zijn betalings- en loyaltyactiviteiten en het uitbreiden van zijn aanwezigheid in andere geografische gebieden. De investering zal onderworpen zijn aan de nodige wettelijke goedkeuringen en zal naar verwachting geen directe invloed hebben op de bestaande Indiase activiteiten van Visa.

Visa (NYSE: V) today announced a minority investment in BillDesk, a leading platform for online payments and bill payments in India. Visa’s investment and collaboration will help BillDesk develop new product lines for its payments and loyalty businesses and also expand its footprint into other geographies. The investment will be subject to necessary statutory approvals and is expected to have no direct bearing on Visa’s existing Indian business.
