NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Een dochteronderneming van fondsen geadviseerd door SK Capital Partners, LP (“SK Capital”) heeft vandaag aangekondigd dat het overeenstemming heeft bereikt over de verkoop van Niacet Corp. (“Niacet”) aan Kerry Group plc, het wereldwijde smaak en voedingsbedrijf, voor $ 1.015 miljoen (€ 853 miljoen ) op een contante, schuldenvrije basis, onderhevig aan gebruikelijke afsluitingsaanpassingen.
Na de overname zal Niacet worden geïntegreerd in Kerry’s wereldwijde voedselbeschermings- en conserveringsplatform.

SK Capital Reaches Agreement to Sell Niacet for $1,015m
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)– An affiliate of funds advised by SK Capital Partners, LP (“SK Capital”) announced today that it reached agreement to sell Niacet Corp. (“Niacet”) to Kerry Group plc, the global taste and nutrition company, for $1,015m (€853m¹) on a cash-free, debt-free basis, subject to customary closing adjustments.
Following the acquisition, Niacet will be integrated into Kerry’s global food protection and preservation platform.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2021 subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Credit Suisse and The Valence Group of Piper Sandler acted as financial advisors to Niacet and Latham & Watkins LLP acted as legal counsel to SK Capital and Niacet.
