BIOCORP kondigt partnerschap aan met AARDEX Group om slimme oplossingen voor therapietrouw van precisiemedicatie uit te breiden

BIOCORP (Parijs: ALCOR) (FR0012788065 – ALCOR / Eligible PEA PME), een Frans bedrijf gespecialiseerd in het ontwerp, de ontwikkeling en de fabricage van innovatieve medische hulpmiddelen, kondigde vandaag een alliantie aan met de in België gevestigde AARDEX Group, de wereldleider in oplossingen voor therapietrouw .

Deze alliantie is bedoeld om de verbonden add-on-oplossingen van BIOCORP voor medicijnafgifteapparaten te combineren met het gepatenteerde Medication Event Monitoring System (MEMS®) van AARDEX en een uitgebreide oplossing te bieden aan patiënten en zorgverleners om de therapietrouw effectief te meten en te beheren. De financiële voorwaarden van de overeenkomst zijn niet bekendgemaakt, maar het eerste initiatief zal zijn om BIOCORP’s Injay verbonden oplossing voor voorgevulde spuiten (PFS) te integreren met AARDEX’s MEMS Adherence Software (MEMS AS®), om geneesmiddelen die door PFS worden geleverd met potentieel toepassingen op het gebied van reumatoïde artritis, multiple sclerose, oogheelkunde, psoriasis of cardiovasculaire aandoeningen. De roadmap omvat ook integratie met de andere verbonden apparaten van BIOCORP om verdere chronische aandoeningen op het gebied van injecteerbaar, respiratoir en daarbuiten te dekken.

BIOCORP (Paris:ALCOR) (FR0012788065 – ALCOR / Eligible PEA PME), a French company specialized in the design, development and manufacture of innovative medical devices, today announced an alliance with Belgium-based AARDEX Group, the world leader in medication adherence solutions.

This alliance is to combine BIOCORP’s connected add-on solutions for drug delivery devices with AARDEX’s proprietary Medication Event Monitoring System (MEMS®) and offer a comprehensive solution to patients and healthcare providers to effectively measure and manage medication adherence. The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, however the first initiative will be to integrate BIOCORP’s Injay connected solution for Pre-filled syringes (PFS) to AARDEX’s MEMS Adherence Software (MEMS AS®), to target medicines delivered by PFS with potential applications in the field of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Ophthalmology, Psoriasis or Cardiovascular diseases. The roadmap also includes integration with BIOCORP’s other connected devices, to cover further chronic conditions in the field of injectable, respiratory, and beyond.
