Sage Automotive Interiors om de Automotive Fabric Business van Adient te verwerven

Verhoogde capaciteit, uitbreiding, in de Europese auto-industrie

GREENVILLE, SC– (BUSINESS WIRE) – Sage Automotive Interiors (een Asahi Kasei-bedrijf) heeft een overeenkomst getekend voor de overname van de autostofactiviteiten van Adient (NYSE: ADNT) met als doel de capaciteit en mogelijkheden voor interieurproducten voor auto’s uit te breiden naar de Europese markt. Met een aantal locaties in Europa zijn de textielfaciliteiten bij uitstek geschikt om de snij- en naaifaciliteiten voor auto’s in Midden- en Oost-Europa te leveren.

Sage Automotive Interiors to Acquire Adient’s Automotive Fabric Business

Increased capacity, expansion, in European automotive industry

GREENVILLE, S.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Sage Automotive Interiors (an Asahi Kasei company) has signed an agreement to acquire the automotive fabric business of Adient (NYSE: ADNT) with the goal of expanding capacity and capability for automotive interior products to the European market. With a number of locations in Europe, the textile facilities are ideally suited to supply the automotive cut and sew facilities in Central and Eastern Europe.

Per the agreement, Sage Automotive Interiors will pay $175M for Adient’s automotive fabric business. The agreement is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions and is not expected to be completed until mid 2020.
