LUXEMBOURG–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Maor GP, een in Luxemburg gevestigd co-investeringsfonds dat zich toelegt op Israëlische technologie, kondigt met trots de definitieve afsluiting aan van zijn eerste fonds, Maor 1, aan, met het doel dat dicht bij de 100 miljoen dollar ligt.
Maor 1 is het eerste in Luxemburg gevestigde Israëlische technologiefonds. Het is opgezet om de toegang van Europese investeerders, en met name Europese zogeheten ‘family offices’, tot de Israëlische technologie te vergemakkelijken.
Rothschild & Co is een zeer belangrijke investeer in het fonds, dat voornamelijk Europese family offices omvat.
Maor is een Hebreeuwse naam. De vrije vertaling ervan is in het Engelse ‘Explorer’; oftewel ‘Ontdekker’.
