Newmont kondigt de Speciale Aandeelhoudersvergadering en de Definitieve Volmacht van Dossiers op Combinatie met Goldcorp

Newmont Announces Special Shareholder Meeting and Files Definitive Proxy on Combination with Goldcorp

DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE: NEM) (Newmont or the Company) today announced a special shareholder meeting and filed its definitive proxy in connection with the Company’s previously announced combination with Goldcorp Inc. (NYSE: GG, TSX: G) (Goldcorp). Newmont notified shareholders that the special shareholder meeting will take place on April 11, 2019.

Shareholders will be asked to vote on, among other proposals, the issuance of Newmont common shares in connection with the proposed transaction with Goldcorp. Newmont’s Board of Directors unanimously recommended that shareholders vote in favor of the proposals.
