Ascend Performance Materials verwerft Britannia Techno Polymer

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Ascend Performance Materials, ‘s werelds grootste volledig geïntegreerde producent van nylon 66 hars, kondigde vandaag de aankoop aan van Britannia Techno Polymer (BTP), een bouwkundig plastic-samensteller gevestigd in Nederland. De acquisitie geeft Ascend een leidend Europese basis in bouwkundig plastic-fabricage, en een uitbreiding voor zijn groeiende portfolio van beschermde samenstellingen.

BTP is opgericht door Andrew Leigh in 2006. Het bedrijf is een bouwkundig samenstellings– en uitbestedingsbedrijf in thermoplastisch materiaal, gespecialiseerd in de fabricage van beschermde nylonsamenstellingen. Het bedrijf bezit onder meer de ISO 9001 en TS 16949 certificaten.

Ascend Performance Materials Acquires Britannia Techno Polymer

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Ascend Performance Materials, the largest global fully integrated producer of nylon 6,6 resin, announced today the purchase of Britannia Techno Polymer (BTP), an engineering plastics compounder based in the Netherlands. The acquisition provides Ascend with a leading engineering plastics manufacturing base in Europe and an expansion to its growing portfolio of proprietary compounds.

BTP was founded in 2006 by Andrew Leigh. The company is an engineering thermoplastics compounding and tolling company specializing in the production of proprietary nylon compounds. Its certifications include ISO 9001 and TS 16949.
