Prysmian Voltooit Acquisitie van General Cable

Prysmian Group (BIT: PRY) en General Cable Corporation (NYSE: BGC) hebben vandaag bekendgemaakt dat Prysmian de overname van General Cable heeft afgerond.
In overeenstemming met de voorwaarden van de fusieovereenkomst die de partijen sloten op 3 december 2017, heeft Prysmian alle uitstaande aandelen van General Cable gewone aandelen voor $ 30,00 per aandeel in contanten. Met de afronding van de transactie is General Cable een particuliere onderneming geworden, en daarom zullen haar aandelen niet langer genoteerd zijn aan de NYSE of enige andere publieke markt.

Prysmian Completes Acquisition of General Cable
MILAN & HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Prysmian Group (BIT: PRY) and General Cable Corporation (NYSE: BGC) today announced that Prysmian has completed its acquisition of General Cable.
Pursuant to the terms of the merger agreement entered into among the parties on December 3, 2017, Prysmian has acquired all the outstanding shares of General Cable common stock for $30.00 per share in cash. With the completion of the transaction, General Cable has become a privately held company, and therefore its shares will no longer be listed on the NYSE or any other public market.
