Ascend breidt capaciteit ADN tot 2022 uit naar 220 kiloton

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Ascend Performance Materials, ‘s werelds grootste volledig geïntegreerde producent van nylon 6,6 hars, kondigde vandaag plannen aan om zijn ADN-capaciteit uit te breiden tot 2022. In totaal zal Ascend haar ADN-capaciteit tegen 2022 met 220 kiloton (KT) uitbreiden om aan de stijgende vraag te kunnen voldoen.

Ascend voltooide zijn eerste uitbreiding van 50KT eind 2017. Eind 2018 zal een bijkomende 40KT uitbreiding voltooid zijn, met plannen om tegen 2022 een bijkomende 180KT te realiseren.

Ascend to Grow Adiponitrile (ADN) Capacity by 220 Kilotons by 2022

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Ascend Performance Materials, the world’s largest fully integrated producer of nylon 6,6 resin, today announced plans for expanding its ADN capacity through 2022. In total, Ascend will grow its ADN capacity by 220 kilotons (KT) by 2022 to meet increasing demand.

Ascend completed its first expansion of 50KT at the end of 2017. An additional 40KT expansion will be completed by the end of 2018, with plans for an additional 180KT to be realized by 2022.

The company did not disclose the amount of capital investment related to the expanded production capacity.
