Mobidiag verzekert 4 miljoen euro extra in kapitaalsverhoging met de overheidsfinancieringsronde van Springvest
ESPOO, Finland–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Mobidiag Ltd., een Fins bedrijf voor moleculaire diagnostiek, kondigde vandaag aan dat het met succes een financiering van 4 miljoen euro heeft afgerond, ondersteund door het Finse bedrijf voor investeringsdiensten Springvest Oy (voormalig Kansalaisrahoitus). Deze financiering werd voor de sluitingsdatum door meer dan 200 investeerders afgerond en heeft tot doel Mobidiag te ondersteunen in de wereldwijde bedrijfsontwikkeling, met inbegrip van haar capaciteit om tegemoet te komen aan de groeiende behoeften voor de nieuwe Novodiag® oplossing.
Mobidiag maakt gebruik van haar expertise in het opsporen van gastro-intestinale infecties en multiresistente organismen, ook wel “superbugs” genoemd. De productlijnen die momenteel beschikbaar zijn (Amplidiag® en Novodiag®) zijn zeer geschikt voor alle soorten laboratoria en brengen effectieve DNA-technieken dichter bij de patiënt in een gebruiksvriendelijk en economisch effectief formaat, waardoor de totale kosten voor de gezondheidszorg worden verlaagd en de behandeling van de patiënt beter wordt gestuurd.
Mobidiag Secures Additional €4 Million in Capital Increase with Springvest´s Public Financing Round
ESPOO, Finland–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Mobidiag Ltd., a Finnish molecular diagnostics company, announced today that it has successfully completed a €4 million funding supported by the Finnish investment service company Springvest Oy (former Kansalaisrahoitus). This funding was completed before the closing date and by more than 200 investors and aims at supporting Mobidiag in its global business development, including its capacity to answer growing needs for the new Novodiag® solution.
Mobidiag has been using its expertise in the detection of gastrointestinal infections and multi-drug resistant organisms, also known as “superbugs”. Product lines currently available (Amplidiag® and Novodiag®) are well suited for all types of laboratories bringing effective DNA technique closer to patients in a user-friendly and economically effective format, reducing overall healthcare costs and directing better patient treatment.
