PIGMENT van Warehouse TERRADA wint German Design Award 2018

– Architect Kengo Kuma creëert internationaal geroemde ruimte –

TOKIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)– PIGMENT, het lab voor traditionele kunstmaterialen van Warehouse TERRADA, is door de internationaal vermaarde German Design Awards 2018 uitgeroepen tot winnaar in de categorie Excellent design voor communicatie (Binnenhuisarchitectuur).

PIGMENT is een rijk geoutilleerde faciliteit voor creativiteit die de kenmerken van een laboratorium, een werkplaats, museum en winkel combineert met hoogwaardige en zeldzame kunstmaterialen. Zo beschikt het lab over 4500 kleurstoffen, lijmsoorten en kwasten voor kalligrafie en schilderkunst.
De beroemde Japanse architect Kengo Kuma ontwierp het interieur. De ruimte oogstte alom lof met zijn opvallende plafond, jaloezieën van gebogen bamboe en kasten vol kleurstoffen in alle tinten die de gehele binnenwand bestrijken.
