OT voert 20 miljoen Italiaanse burgerservicekaarten in

COLOMBES, Frankrijk–(BUSINESS WIRE)– OT (Oberthur Technologies), een toonaangevende aanbieder van ingebouwde beveiligingssoftware, heeft vandaag bekendgemaakt dat het door het Italiaanse ministerie van Economische Zaken en Financiën is geselecteerd voor de invoering van 20 miljoen Burgerservicekaarten (CNS) in heel het land.

CNS is de de officiële kaart in Italië voor zorgverlening en burgerlijke zaken. De kaarten verschaffen burgers in heel Italië gemakkelijk en veilig toegang tot een reeks online en offline zorg- en overheidsdiensten. Dankzij zijn erkende kennis en positie als cruciale speler op de markt voor zorg en identificatie voert OT op dit moment miljoenen kaarten met duale interface en Common Criteta-certificatie in, gelijktijdig met een overeenkomstige applicatie voor een digitale handtekening. Bovendien voldoet de OT-oplossing volledig aan het Netlink-kader (eHIC) van de Europese Unie.



OT is Deploying 20 Million Italian Health and Citizen Services Cards

Thanks to its recognized know-how and as a key player on the identity and healthcare markets, OT is currently deploying in the field millions of dual interface Common Criteria certified cards, as well as the corresponding digital signature application. As the key supplier to the CNS initiative, OT is working in close partnership with the publically owned Società Generale d’Informatica (SOGEI) and the country’s Regional Public Administration authorities to deploy the solution across Italy.
