CES 2017 breidt programma Media Days uit: persconferenties verspreid over twee dagen

–(BUSINESS WIRE)– De Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™ heeft vandaag het programma van zijn Media Days op CES ® 2017 aangekondigd.  Het programma van de komende editie is uitgebreid naar twee dagen. Daarmee voldoet het aan de toegenomen vraag naar media-evenementen en persconferenties van exposanten voorafgaand aan de beurs. Media Day 1 bevat presentaties door analisten van CTA die Tech Trends to Watch 2017 presenteren. Daarnaast geven ze, naast CES Unveiled, een overzicht van de internationale sector voor consumentelektronica. CES Unveiled Las Vegas werpt de schijnwerpers op table-topschermen van meer dan honderd lokale en internationale techbedrijven en de winnaars van de CES Best of Innovation Awards 2017.

De evenementen zijn alleen toegankelijk voor media die zich hebben aangemeld voor CES en gaan op dinsdag 3 januari 2017 om 12.00 uur ‘s middags van start in Mandalay Bay. Ze eindigen woensdag 4 januari.

Expanded CES 2017 Media Day Schedule Announced: Exhibitor Press Conference Programming Now Spans Two Days to Accommodate Demand

 

–(BUSINESS WIRE)– The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™ today announced the schedule for the official Media Days at CES ® 2017. This year, the schedule has been expanded to cover two days to help meet demand for preshow media events and exhibitor news conferences. Media Day 1 also features presentations by CTA analysts exploring Tech Trends to Watch in 2017 and an overview of the global consumer technology industry, along with CES Unveiled, the official media event of CES. CES Unveiled Las Vegas features tabletop displays from over 100 local and global tech companies and CES 2017 Best of Innovation Awards Honorees.

Open exclusively to registered CES media, events will kick off at noon on Tuesday, January 3 at Mandalay Bay and run through 5:45 PM on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. The new two day format allows 23 percent more exhibitors to break major pre-show news at CES.

Media Day 2 also will feature a full line-up of exhibitor Power Sessions: 30-minute news conferences for companies looking to share their news quickly.

Running from 9 AM–1 PM, Power Sessions will take place at Mandalay Bay, South Convention Center, Level 3, Palm Ballroom A. A full schedule of Power Sessions will be posted to the Official Press Events section of CES.tech.

Following Media Day 2 events at Mandalay Bay, the CES Preshow Keynote will feature an address from Jen-Hsung Huang, founder, president and CEO, NVIDIA on January 4 at 6:30 PM in the Venetian Palazzao Ballroom.

LOGISTICS

A complimentary shuttle bus service will run from select official CES hotels to Mandalay Bay on both Media Days.

Lunch is available to registered CES media beginning at 11:30 AM on Media Day 2 (January 4) in the Mandalay Bay Press Room (South Convention Center, Level 2, Breakers Ballroom).
