Westinghouse maakt bestuurswijzigingen bekend

PITTSBURGH–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Westinghouse Electric Company heeft vandaag een reeks verschuivingen binnen het uitvoerende bestuur aangekondigd. De wijzigingen treden vandaag in werking. Danny Roderick wordt president en ceo van de bedrijfstak Energy Systems and Solutions Company (ESS) van Toshiba Corporation. Roderick vervult deze functie naast zijn werk als voorzitter van de raad van bestuur van Westinghouse Electric Company.

José Emeterio Gutiérrez is op 22 juni benoemd tot waarnemend president en ceo. David Precht wordt waarnemend senior vicepresident van de tak Nuclear Fuel and Components Manufacturing.

 

Westinghouse Announces Executive Leadership Transitions

 

PITTSBURGH–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Today Westinghouse Electric Company announced a series of executive leadership transitions. These transitions are effective today, with Danny Roderick as president and CEO of Toshiba Corporation’s Energy Systems and Solutions Company (ESS). Roderick will fulfill this role in addition to his role as chairman of the Board of Westinghouse Electric Company.

Also effective on June 22, José Emeterio Gutiérrez has been named acting president and CEO, and David Precht, acting senior vice president, Nuclear Fuel and Components Manufacturing.

Gutiérrez joined Westinghouse in 2008, during which time he has progressed through a series of increasingly responsible positions including his most recent role as senior vice president, Nuclear Fuel and Components Manufacturing, which he assumed in April 2012. He provided leadership to the company’s nuclear fuel fabrication, components and services to Westinghouse’s customers worldwide. He also has had responsibility for the company’s global nuclear supply chain organization. Prior to this role, he served as managing director and vice president for Southern Europe in Westinghouse’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

David Precht assumes the position of acting senior vice president, Nuclear Fuel and Components Manufacturing. He previously served as vice president of Columbia Fuel Operations in Columbia, South Carolina, a position he has held since 2014. In his most recent capacity, he had oversight for Westinghouse’s Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility, as well as leadership responsibility over Fuel Delivery Operations and International Fuel Delivery teams for the company’s largest U.S. manufacturing organization.

Gutiérrez and Precht will hold their respective positions until a permanent successor is named.
