Startup World Cup debuteert: 1 miljoen dollar voor wereldkampioen

SAN JOSE, Californië–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Startup World Cup, een internationale conferentie en wedstrijd, maakt zijn debuut. Het evenement verbindt start-ups uit de hele wereld. Startup World Cup organiseert regionale evenementen in Indonesië, Japan, Taiwan, China, Israël, Australië, Duitsland, Chili en de Verenigde Staten (in Boston en Silicon Valley). Finalisten van deze wedstrijden nemen het vervolgens tegen elkaar op in de Grote Finale, die op 24 maart 2017 losbarst in Silicon Valley. De eindwinnaar wordt uitgeroepen tot Startup World Cup Champion en wint 1 miljoen dollar aan investeringsgeld.

Startup World Cup wordt georganiseerd door Fenox Venture Capital. Fenox komt oorspronkelijk uit Silicon Valley, maar is wereldwijd in veertien landen gevestigd. SAN JOSE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Startup World Cup, a global conference and competition, makes its debut connecting startup ecosystems around the world. Startup World Cup will host regional events in Indonesia, Japan, India, Taiwan, China, Israel, Australia, Germany, Chile, and the US (Boston & Silicon Valley) where the finalist of each competition will compete at the Grand Finale in Silicon Valley USA on March 24 th, 2017. The Startup World Cup Champion will be awarded with US $1,000,000 in investment.

Startup World Cup is led by Fenox Venture Capital. Fenox is a native of Silicon Valley with presence in 14 different countries globally. Fenox’s limited partners are large corporations from around the world, and Fenox has been leveraging its strong global network to connect startup ecosystems.

Additional judges will be disclosed at a later time.
