RF Energy Alliance effent weg voor nieuwe generatie toepassingen van solide RF-energie op IMS2016

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Klaus Werner, uitvoerend directeur van de RF Energy Alliance (RFEA), geeft op het International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2016 inzicht in de huidige staat van de alliantie en de invloed van de organisatie in haar eerste twee jaar. IMS 2016 duurt van 22 tot 27 mei.

RFEA, qua ledenaantal verdriedubbeld sinds haar oprichting in 2014, slecht de barrières voor een wijdverspreide inzet van solide RF-energiesystemen, door samen te werken aan methodes die kosten en complexiteit van deze systemen verminderen. Onlangs toegetreden leden zijn sectorleiders als Panasonic, Miele, Cellencor en Passice Plus, Inc. De vooraanstaande universiteit Worcester Polytechnic Institute is eveneens tot de alliantie toegetreden.



RF Energy Alliance Paves Way for Next Gen Solid-State RF Energy Applications at IMS2016


SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)– During the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2016, May 22-27, 2016, Dr. Klaus Werner, executive director of the RF Energy Alliance (RFEA), will showcase the current state of the Alliance and the impact the organization has made in its first two years.RFEA, whose membership has tripled since its formation in 2014, is breaking down barriers to wide-market adoption by collaborating on methods that reduce costs and complexities of solid-state RF energy (SSRFE) systems. Recent global industry leaders to become members include Panasonic, Miele, Cellencor and Passive Plus, Inc. Prominent research university, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, has also joined the Alliance.

Additionally, the RFEA recently announced the publication of its first specification, the “RF Power Amplifier (PA) Roadmap: Residential Appliances.” The roadmap sets over 40 technical parameters for five PA module generations targeting consumer cooking applications.
