Viking Malt purchase of Danish Malting Group finalized
LAHTI, Finland–(BUSINESS WIRE)– After getting clearance by all relevant competition authorities Viking Malt were able to finalized its purchase of Danish Malting Group from Carlsberg on 11 th of May. The malting companies in Poland and Denmark will continue under the name Viking Malt from this date onwards.

The company will now have two malting plants in Poland and one malting plant in Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Lithuania each. The total malting capacity of Viking Malt will be 600.000 t/a. It is also noteworthy that Viking Malt is now a leading producer of roasted malts globally.
