Graham Emmett naar H.I.G. Europe als bestuurder vastgoedteam

LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– H.I.G. Capital, een toonaangevende private-equitybelegger met 17 miljard euro in beheer, maakt met blijdschap bekend dat Graham Emmet is benoemd tot algemeen directeur van het vastgoedteam. Dit team werkt vanuit het Londense kantoor van H.I.G.

Graham, die al meer dan 25 jaar werkzaam is in de vastgoedsector, heeft uitgebreide ervaring met beleggingen en transacties in alle onderdelen van de kapitaalstructuur. Voorafgaand aan zijn toetreden tot H.I.G. was hij investerend vennoot van de vastgoeddivisie van Cheyne Capital, waar hij tevens werkte als hoofd portefeuillebeheer voor Cheynes schuldinstrument voor vastgoed. Daarvoor werkte Emmet als vennoot van ICG Longbow, een Londense kredietverstrekker voor vastgoed. Daarnaast werkte hij als hoofd krediet en corporate finance van het uitvoerend bestuur van de National Asset Management Agency (NAMA). In een eerder stadium van zijn carrière was Emmet lid van de Special Situations Group van Goldman Sachs en financieel bestuurder van Delancey Estate plc.

 

Graham Emmett Joins H.I.G. Europe to Lead Structured Finance Real Estate Activities

LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– H.I.G. Capital, a leading global private equity investment firm with €17 billion of equity capital under management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Emmett as Managing Director in the Real Estate team, based in the London office.

With over 25 years in a variety of real estate sector roles, Graham has extensive investment and transactional experience in all parts of the capital structure. Prior to joining H.I.G., he was an Investment Partner in the Real Estate division of Cheyne Capital, where he also was the lead portfolio manager of its listed real estate debt vehicle. Prior to Cheyne, he was a Partner at ICG Longbow, a leading London based real estate lender, and served as Head of Lending and Corporate Finance on the Executive management team of the National Asset Management Agency (or NAMA, Ireland’s “Bad Bank”). Earlier in his career, Emmett was a member of Goldman Sach’s Special Situations Group, where he was head of the European Mezzanine debt investments team, and Finance Director of Delancey Estate plc.

H.I.G. Capital’s European real estate platform targets direct principal equity investments, junior debt investments and whole loans in opportunistic real estate investments across Europe.
