H.I.G. Capital benoemt Andrew Scotland tot managing director

LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– H.I.G. Capital (“H.I.G.”),  een toonaangevende wereldwijde investeringsmaatschappij met 17 miljard euro beheerd vermogen, heeft vandaag bekendgemaakt dat Andrew Scotland is gepromoveerd tot Managing Director van Bayside Capital, de dochter van H.I.G. die zich bezighoudt met slechte schulden en speciale situaties.

Andrew kwam in 2013 bij H.I.G. Capital terecht als een Principal. Hij werkt vanuit H.I.G.’s Londense kantoor en heeft meer dan 17 jaar ervaring als investeringsbankier en met probleemkredieten in een variëteit aan industrieën. Voor hij bij H.I.G. Capital ging werken was Andrew meer dan zes jaar managing director in de specialesituatiesgroep van Royal Bank of Scotland, waar hij de senior analist was die zich richtte op Europese probleemkrediten. Voor RBS was Andrew een directeur in de vermogensonderzoeksafdeling van ABN AMRO; daarvoor werkte hij bij de hoog aangeschreven institutionele investeerders-onderzoeksafdelingen van Citigroup en Credit Suisse.

LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– H.I.G. Capital (“H.I.G.”), a leading global investment firm with €17 billion of equity capital under management, announced today that Andrew Scotland has been promoted to Managing Director of Bayside Capital, the distressed debt and special situations affiliate of H.I.G.

Andrew joined H.I.G. Capital in 2013 as a Principal. He is based in H.I.G.’s London office and has over 17 years of investment banking and distressed investment experience across a variety of industries. Prior to joining H.I.G. Capital, Andrew was a Managing Director in Royal Bank of Scotland’s Special Situations Group for more than six years, where he was the senior analyst focused on European distressed investments. Before RBS, Andrew was a Director in the Equity Research department of ABN AMRO; and prior to that was in the top ranked Institutional Investor research teams at Citigroup and Credit Suisse.
