ARLINGTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) ® today announced the first in what will be an all-star series of keynotes at CES ® 2016 – Intel Corporation CEO Brian Krzanich will deliver a preshow keynote address on Tuesday, January 5. Owned and produced by CEA, CES is the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, and will run January 6-9, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Krzanich’s preshow keynote address is scheduled for 6:30 PM, Tuesday, January 5, in the Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom. At the 2015 CES, Krzanich shared his vision for the next 20 years of computing and how it will evolve. This coming year, Krzanich will focus on dramatic new ways the consumer world is being reshaped by the expanding boundaries of technology, and the experiences enabled by this transformation.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Brian Krzanich to the CES keynote stage once again. Intel’s innovations, which power tablets, wearables, PCs, smart cars, homes, appliances, cloud computing and so much more are serving as the foundation for the burgeoning Internet of Things (IoT),” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA. “After inspiring keynote addresses at CES in 2014 and 2015, we broke precedent and asked him to return for a third year to share his vision on how Intel continues to shape the future. With the IoT standing as a major theme of our upcoming show, Brian’s comments will be particularly timely, insightful and instructive.”

Intel recently announced a new reality competition called “America’s Greatest Makers” to appear in the first half of 2016 across leading networks and properties of Turner Broadcasting and produced by United Artists Media Group CEO Mark Burnett, the creator of Survivor, Shark Tank, and The Apprentice.
