Roku ondersteunt streamingdienst Telstra TV
SARATOGA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Roku Inc. heeft vandaag bekendgemaakt dat de Australische telecomexploitant Telstra is toegetreden tot het licentieprogramma Roku Powered. Krachtens de strategische overeenkomst maakt Telstra gebruik van het streamingplatform van Roku voor de aanlevering van zijn nieuwe streamingdienst en -speler, Telstra TV, naar klanten. Telstra TV is later dit jaar beschikbaar in Australië en bundelt zijn eigen filmdienst, BigPond, met de populairste streamingdiensten, zoals Presto, Stan, Netflix en kanalen voor gemiste tv-uitzendingen. Roku to Power Telstra TV Streaming Service
SARATOGA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Roku Inc. today announced that Australian telecom operator Telstra joined the Roku Powered licensing program. As part of the strategic agreement Telstra will leverage the Roku streaming platform to deliver its new streaming service and player, Telstra TV, to consumers. The Telstra TV streaming service will launch later this year in Australia and will bundle its own BigPond movie service together with the most popular streaming services including Presto, Stan, Netflix and various catch up TV channels. Telstra is the fourth operator after Sky UK, Sky Deutschland and Sky Italia to join the Roku Powered licensing program.
