Beuth University of Applied Sciences and RENAC: New travel grants to study renewable energy and energy efficiency in Germany

BERLIN–(BUSINESS WIRE)– The Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin and the Renewables Academy (RENAC), co-organisers of both the distance learning degrees Master of Business Administration (MBA) Renewables and Master of Science Energy and Resource Efficiency (ERE International), are launching a new scholarship programme: The four students of each study programme obtaining the best grades in the first semester will be granted up to 1,200 € for travel costs to participate in the on-campus time. The on-campus time is offered as an elective module in the 2nd semester in Berlin (Germany).

Designed for professionals who pursue a management position in the fast growing green economy, the accredited MBA Renewables combines economic, technical, legal, political and organisational knowledge tailored to the needs of the renewable energy markets. According to MBA Renewables graduate Kareem Abu Eid, “this programme is a specialised MBA that enhances students’ professional development!”

Investing in efficiency is essential to increase competitiveness and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. ERE International – with a focus on energy and resource efficiency in energy supply, industry, commerce and the built environment – shows how to deal with the challenges of resource allocation both in the public and private sectors.

The on-campus times provide excellent networking opportunities combined with practical, hands-on training and site visits to real installations. In this way, students coming from the whole world not only put their knowledge into practice, but also establish direct contacts with other students and the industry. “I hope there will be more chances similar to this”, 2015 on-campus time participant Ömer Muhtaroglu said. “From the content of the course to the on-site visits, everything was perfect”.

The Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin offers more than 72 accredited programmes in engineering, sciences and economics. The modern distance learning center has more than 32 years of experience in higher education.

RENAC, a globally operating expert on training for renewable energies and energy efficiency, serves as a bridge between students and the industry.

Interested people can apply until 1st September to start on 1st October on MBA Renewables or ERE International websites.
