MPEG LA: oproep om patenten voor MPEG-DASH-licentie
DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Wereldwijd leider in patentlicenties MPEG LA vraagt naar patenten die essentieel zijn voor zijn standaarden van Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH). MPEG wil daarmee de markt efficiënt toegang bieden tot deze belangrijke technologie. DASH, dat momenteel wordt gebruikt in platforms voor contentlevering, verzorgt audo- en videostreams die zich aan omstandigheden aanpassen voor een ononderbroken kijk- en luisterervaring.

MPEG LA Announces Call for Patents to Organize Joint License for MPEG-DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP)
DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)– World licensing leader MPEG LA, LLC today announced a call for patents essential to the MPEG Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH) standards for the purpose of offering the market efficient access to this important technology. Currently used in leading content delivery platforms, DASH adaptively streams audio and video content enabling continuous viewing without freezing or stuttering.
