Pierre Calais nieuwe directeur van Arkoon Netasq
PARIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Arkoon Netasq, dochteronderneming van Airbus Defence and Space en belangrijke speler in de cyberbeveiligingsbranche, heeft Pierre Calais benoemd tot zijn nieuwe directeur. Calais is daarme de opvolger van François Lavaste, die per 1 augustus aan het werk gaat als hoofd cyberbeveiliging van Airbus Defence and Space.
Pierre Calais was sinds juni 2013 operationeel topman en plaatsvervangend directeur van Arkoon Netasq. Hij kwam in 2008 bij het bedrijf als vicepresident van de afdeling Engineering and Operations. Daarvoor gaf hij leiding aan software-uitgever NetSecureOne.
Pierre Calais Appointed Head of Arkoon Netasq
PARIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Arkoon Netasq, a subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space and a key player in the cyber security market, has announced the appointment of Pierre Calais as its new head. He succeeds François Lavaste, who will be taking on new responsibilities as the Head of CyberSecurity at Airbus Defence and Space effective August 1, 2015.
Since June 2013, Pierre Calais has held positions as the COO and Deputy Head of Arkoon Netasq. He joined Netasq in 2008 as the Vice President for Engineering and Operations, before moving on to become COO. Previously, he was responsible for managing the software publisher NetSecureOne.
Pierre Calais began his career in 1987 as an engineer at Bull, and later at Dassault Électronique. Since then, he has successively held the positions of project manager at Cadence Design Systems, manager at EMC Documentum and Technical Director at Zencod.
The 51-year-old holds a master’s degree in Applied Physics and a DEA postgraduate degree in Micro-electronics and Micro-computing from the University of Paris 7.
