CiDRA Minerals Processing en OZ Minerals gaan een memorandum van overeenstemming aan

WALLINGFORD, Conn. & ADELAIDE, Australië–(BUSINESS WIRE)– CiDRA Minerals Processing Inc. (“CiDRA”) en OZ Minerals Ltd (“OZ Minerals”) zijn verheugd aan te kondigen dat zij een memorandum van overeenstemming zijn aangegaan dat voorziet in een basis van gemeenschappelijk begrip om opdracht te geven tot een Front End Engineering Design (FEED)-studie voor aanpassing en aansluiting van CiDRA’s gepatenteerde minerale scheidingstechnologie voor gebruik in een ruwere toepassing van het maalcircuit op de Carrapateena-mijnsite van OZ Minerals. Tegelijkertijd zijn CiDRA en OZ Minerals overeengekomen om op de locatie een demonstratiefabriek op te zetten op basis van de technologie van CiDRA. CiDRA en OZ Minerals delen de wens om het technology readiness level (TRL) te verhogen voor een commerciële schaalimplementatie van CiDRA’s technologie als een vermalingscircuit ruwer dat een grove fractie van de primaire vermaling hydrocycloon onderstroom bij Carrapateena zal verwerken. De doelstellingen van het partnerschap zijn het verhogen van de verwerkingscapaciteit, het herstel en de netto metaalproductie van de fabriek tegen een lager specifiek energieverbruik, in overeenstemming met hun inspanningen om op een verantwoorde, rechtvaardige en duurzame manier te helpen voorzien in de wereldwijde behoefte aan grondstoffen.

CiDRA Minerals Processing and OZ Minerals enter into Memorandum of Understanding

WALLINGFORD, Conn. & ADELAIDE, Australia–(BUSINESS WIRE)– CiDRA Minerals Processing Inc. (“CiDRA”) and OZ Minerals Ltd (“OZ Minerals”) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding that provides a basis of common understanding to commission a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study for customization and tie-in of CiDRA’s proprietary mineral separation technology for operation in a grind circuit rougher application at OZ Minerals’ Carrapateena Mine Site. At the same time, CiDRA and OZ Minerals have agreed to deploy a demonstration plant based on CiDRA’s technology at the site. CiDRA and OZ Minerals share a desire to increase the technology readiness level (TRL) for a commercial scale implementation of CiDRA’s technology as a grind circuit rougher which will process a coarse fraction of the primary grind hydrocyclone underflow at Carrapateena. The goals of the Partnership are to increase plant throughput, recovery, and net metal production at a reduced specific energy consumption in keeping with their efforts to help meet the world’s raw material needs in a responsible, equitable, and sustainable way.
