3G Licensing S.A. lanceert 3G-licenseringsprogramma
LUXEMBURG–(BUSINESS WIRE)– 3G Licensing S.A. heeft vandaag de lancering aangekondigd van een licentie programma voor essentiële patenten voor de 3G-standaard en gerelateerde technische specificaties.
De patenten die 3G Licensing nu in licentie aanbiedt bestrijken technologieën voor een wijd pakket aan mobiele communicatieapparaten en -diensten (“3G technology” or “3G”). In het bijzonder worden de patenten als essentieel gezien voor UMTS, de derde generatie mobiele communicatie technologie standaard en ook voor de daarvan afgeleide standaarden WCDMA, ARIB STD-T63, TD-SCDMA, FOMA, HSPA, HSPA+, HSUPA en HSDPA.
3G Licensing S.A. wil gebuik van deze gepateneerde technologie mogelijk maken onder FRAND voorwaarden.

The Patents licensed by 3G cover technologies used in a wide range of mobile communication devices and services (“3G technology” or “3G”).
